Face portrait
Here I drew Bree, a classmate. We were given a limited amount of time to draw the proportions of the face at the angle it was given at. Her face is fun to draw
Figure drawing the body
Here we learned to draw the body in proportion again with a set time limit and some oil pastels. This is Heather. She has a future in modeling.
In progress Hand
I wanted this composition at first but it was quite boring
My homie V drew my hand and I drew hers. This is where I thought to change the composition.
Thought about blue for the backround. Turns out it’s horrible and Purtee hates it with a passion. I painted it yellow instead. Like the walls in the classroom.
Hand in watercolor and Acrylic
This is the hand of my friend V. I wrote ride or die on her nail because she’s my ride or die homie and I expect nothing but loyalty and support from her. I took a picture of her hand, drew it in practice, and transferred it onto watercolor paper. I then painted it in with watercolor and used acrylic as the backround. I chose these colors because V is a colorful personality. I had a bit of a dilemma about what color I wanted the backround to be. But it’s all good now.
